Techaide Beach Volleyball Tournament

Matches:

The matches are played at Volleyball Celtique. Net height: 2m 35 – 7 courts of 8 x 16 meters.

If it is very windy or too sunny, teams can change sides at any 7 points. The captains must agree at the start of the match.

The matches are 2 series of 21 points each. If time permits, a third set may be played for recreational purposes only, without it being counted in the final score. Players should pay attention to the time and ensure that they are not at risk of being late for their next match if they choose to play a third set.

It is crucial that teams begin their scheduled matches on time and are not delayed due to playing additional sets. In the event that there is insufficient time to complete the

second set, the leading team will be declared the winner. A tie in the second set will be resolved by a final point.

For all matches, points will be awarded as follows:

  • Win = 3 points
  • Defeat = 1 point
  • Tie = 2 points
  • No show = 0 points

Ranking:

The ranking is established according to the number of victories and in the event of a tie the number of sets won will be used. If the tie persists, the ratio of won/lost points will decide the winners.
