2025 Techaide Soccer Tournament

Join us on Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Stade de soccer de Montréal (9235 Av. Papineau, Montréal) for an exciting tournament that unites Montreal’s tech community for a great cause.

For the fifth year, tech professionals will take to the field to compete, network, and, most importantly, support Centraide of Greater Montreal in its mission to fight poverty and social exclusion.

All proceeds from the tournament will go to the Techaide initiative to give back to Centraide of Greater Montreal, in support of the 350 local agencies that fight poverty and social exclusion every day.

Tournament details

– Two leagues: Recreational & Competitive.
– Match Format: 7 vs 7, with up to 8 substitutes and unlimited rotations.
– Inclusion Matters: Each team must always have at least one female player on the field.

Registration

Registration Deadline: April 20, 2025.
Once your team is registered, a fundraising page will be created for your team. It is on this page that the players will have to register.

Fundraising

Recreational League: $1000 per team (fundraising-based).

Competitive League: $2500 per team. (fundraising-based).

For participation in the tournament, each team has to organize a fundraiser with a goal of $1000 (Recreational) or $2500(Competitive). The proceeds are donated directly to Centraide of Greater Montreal.

All donations of $20 or more are eligible for a tax receipt. This receipt will be issued in the name of the person or company that registers the donation.
